Meet the Staff
Linda S. Rumsey - Manager
Linda brought 25 plus years of management experience to our team in November 2003. She attended the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and majored in Business Administration and Public Relations. Her experience includes public accounting and insurance administration, along with management of medical/dental practices. Linda's husband, Tom, is a retired Commissioned Officer from the S.C. Highway Patrol. They enjoy traveling and entertaining family and friends.
Teresa H. Stack - Dental Hygienist
Teresa joined the practice in February 2003 after working for 18 years in a periodontal practice and 4 years with a high-end cosmetic practice. Teresa now has 28 years of experience to offer our patients in dental hygiene. She received her Bachelor of Health Sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina, and she is a registered hygienist with the state of South Carolina. Teresa is a member of the Honor Society of MUSC. She has a 10-year-old son, Andrew, and a retired greyhound, River. Her hobbies are scuba diving, snow skiing, and reading during her spare time.
Elisa M. Rogers - Dental Hygienist
In the winter of 2005, Elisa and her husband, Alton, and their three children moved to South Carolina from California. Elisa earned her Associate's degree in 1995 from Fresno City College. She then fell in love with dentistry and earned her Associate's degree in Dental Assisting from San Joaquin Valley College in 1997. In 2003, she earned her Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from Fresno City College. Elisa is also a registered hygienist with the state of South Carolina. Elisa enjoys educating our patients on good oral health. Her hobbies include sports, NASCAR racing, camping, gardening, but first and foremost, Elisa loves being with her family and children.
Sherie Williams - Dental Hygienist
Sherie is a Greer native and joined the practice in June 2007. She has 10 years of experience in dental assisting and 10 years plus of experience in dental hygiene. Sherie received her Associate's degree in Dental Assisting in 1987 and her Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene in 1997. She has served her profession as President of the PDHA in 1998, and in 2001 and 2004 was elected president of the SCDHA. In 2004, she was honored with being the Registered Dental Hygienist of the Year by the SCDHA. Presently, Sherie serves on the South Carolina Board of Dentistry as the Dental Hygiene Member until 2014. She also volunteers with her daughter's, Mallory, Girt Scout troop. Hobbies include other community and church activities, going to the pool, reading, and traveling with family and friends.
Rita P. Bell - Dental Assistant
Rita enjoys making our patients' smiles more beautiful and creating surroundings that allow our patients to feel comfortable in the dental chair. Rita's employment began in June 2000, and her career in the dental profession is being celebrated as her 31st year. Rita and Greg have been married as many years. They have one son and one daughter, along with two kittens, Lucy and Serena. Rita is a master gardener and loves interior design. Her quiet time is spent reading. Rita's passion is remodeling anything.
Tammie Bailey - Assistant
Tammie and her family are transplants from the state of Tennessee, and their blood does "Run Orange." They enjoy watching the football games with family and friends. They relocated to the Upstate of South Carolina in 2002, and Tammie came to work with our practice in April of that year. Tammie was trained and certified in her home state of Tennessee and attended Roane State. She brings 25 plus years of experience in chairside assisting to the practice and gets very excited when we achieve a great smile for our patients. Tammie and her husband, Kyle, have two sons who are very active in sports. The family dog is named Beamer.
Kathy Paris - Dental Assistant
Kathy became a part of Dhillon Family Dentistry in August of 2002. She graduated from Greenville Technical College in Dental Assisting and has been certified with the Dental Assisting National Board for 26 years. She finds the crown and bridge aspects of dentistry interesting. Kathy’s family, husband, Shane, daughter, Jill, son, Justin, and family dog, Lucy, are devoted campers and enjoy spending time with family and friends.
Allison L. Ivey - Dental Assistant
Allison began her career with our practice in March 2009 and brought 15 years of experience with her. She attended Spartanburg Methodist and Trident Technical College. Originally from Easley, South Carolina, Allison moved back to the area from Charleston. Allison enjoys gardening and reading. Max, Dixie, and Greta are her dogs, which provide lots of love and entertainment.
Ashley Lane – Dental Assistant
Ashley graduated from Travelers Rest High School and Greenville Technical College in Dental Assisting. She joined Drs. Dhillon and Dhillon in January 2009. Ashley enjoys cosmetic dentistry. Ashley has a daughter, Isabella (Izzy,) who is a toddler and keeps her busy at home. Hobbies include scrapbooking, being with friends and family, and tailgating. Go Tigers!
April Tyner – Front Desk Administrator
April is one of the smiling faces you meet when you enter our doors. She is multi-talented; she files insurance claims for our patients and collects your balance due at the time of checkout, backs up our receptionist, and makes sure we are on schedule. April has been with us since August of 2002 and has 20 plus years of experience in administrative work. April admires all the beautiful cosmetic dentistry achieved in our practice. The "befores" and "afters" are amazing. April and her husband, Johnny, are active in their church and community. They have two children, Brandon and Shannon.
Tonya Moss – Receptionist
Tonya is the pleasant voice that answers our phones and the other smiling face that greets you as you arrive for your visit with us. Tonya started with the practice in June 2007 and has 2 years of experience in dental administration, as well as 15 plus years of experience in medical administration. When asked what her favorite part of her job was, she replied, "I love it all, the patients, the co-workers, and the results after the patients' visits." A native of Taylors, Tonya is married to Jim, and they have McKenna, a preschooler, and a family dog named "Tater." Hobbies are spending time with McKenna and family at the pool, shopping, going to the beach, and scrapbooking.
